Terms of use
iOnym: Cards is a free game. These terms are short and in plain language. By playing, you agree to them.
Free to play
The game and everything in it are free to play, for your own personal, non-commercial use. There is no account to make and nothing to buy.
No scraping or bulk copying
Please play by hand. Automated access is not permitted: bots, scripts, scrapers, or any tool that plays, reads or collects the game for you. Neither is copying the game's content, data or code in bulk, or using them to build another product. The server limits how fast anyone can play, and it slows down traffic that no person would produce.
For reflection and entertainment
The cards draw on astrology, tarot and the historical tables of correspondence. They are offered for reflection and entertainment only. Nothing in the game is professional advice of any kind: not medical, psychological, legal or financial. Don't make important decisions on the strength of a card.
No account; one anonymous cookie
You never sign in. To keep your games yours, the server sets one cookie, cards_v. It holds a random id only: no name, no email address, nothing about you. Your browser can't read it from the page, and it is used for nothing else. If you clear your cookies, the games you had in progress can no longer be opened.
To keep things fair, limits apply per visitor and per network address. Games you leave are archived after 30 days. Your browser also remembers your chosen look and mode; that is stored in your browser and is never sent to the server.
As it is
The game is offered as it is, without any promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes. It may change, pause or stop at any time. These terms may change too; the version on this page is the one that applies.
